How to access the scheme
You will need:

appoint employees affected as ‘workers furloughed,’ and informing your employees of this change – change the status of employees remain subject to the existing labor laws and, depending on the employment contract, may be negotiated
send information to HMRC about employees who have been furloughed and their revenue through the new online portal (HMRC will specify further details on the information required)

How to access the scheme
This is an automatic bid without the required application. Businesses do not need to make a payment of VAT during this period.
