  • Security+ is the entry-level qualification for cybersecurity jobs. Those who hold it can become security administrators, security analysts, and security engineers. The position also requires expertise in IT audit, systems administration, helpdesk management, and network engineering. An IT project manager, a software developer, and a cloud engineer can also become certified. This module covers architecture, design, implementation, and operations. As well as attacks, threats, vulnerabilities, incident response, governance, risk, and compliance, this course focuses on all of these.

As part of the Core curriculum, students will gain an understanding of infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Cloud+, Linux+, and Server+ are also offered.

  • Cloud+ covers cloud architecture, cloud design, cloud deployment, operations, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Linux+ focuses on the Linux operating system. The topics covered here include hardware configuration, system configuration, automation, scripting, system operations, system maintenance, and Linux troubleshooting, Linux diagnostics, and security.
  • The Server+ certification covers server hardware installation, management, server administration, security, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.

Furthermore, there are three courses in cybersecurity – CySA+, CASP+, and PenTest+.

  • The CySA+ program covers threat management, vulnerability management, software security, systems security, and security monitoring. As well as operations monitoring, compliance assessment, and incident response are covered.
  • CASP+ offers coverage of enterprise architecture, enterprise security operations, and technical integration of enterprise security. In addition, it addresses issues such as risk management, research, development, and collaboration.
  • PenTest+ includes information gathering, vulnerability identification, and penetration testing tools. In addition, it covers planning, scoping, reporting, and communication, as well as attacks and exploits.
