QuickBooks

Intuit’s QuickBooks is one of the most well-known small business invoicing and accounting apps. We featured it on our list of the best small business accounting cloud based inventory management software.

QuickBooks is a universal accounting app that can help you streamline your business finances. You can even link it to online banking account software, reducing manual data entry errors.

It’s also great for invoicing. You can view and update your invoices from a single dashboard, automate invoicing and the software can proactively show the impact of invoicing on cash flow.

The QuickBooks self-assessment package for freelancers and self-employed people costs £8.00 per month. They also have a range of plans for small businesses and VAT registered businesses in their Making Tax Digital for VAT Ready category, starting at £12.00 per month.

Both Quick books for Self-Employed and Quick books for Small Businesses are available for iPhone and Android.

Fresh Books

Fresh Books more closely monitors invoicing for small businesses and the self-employed with time and expense tracking features. You can edit invoices (for example, add a logo) and send them by email or hard copy.

Fresh Books says they have award-winning customer service, and the team is very active on social media. Their help center offers guidance and everything customers need to get started.

The £19 per month “Plus” package allows them to bill up to 50 customers. It is also possible to use the Fresh Books billing app for Android or iPhone.

Zoho Invoice

Zoho has many different cloud apps for small businesses, but its invoicing software Zoho Invoice is perfect for small businesses.

While Zoho Invoice offers a wide range of features, it’s very fast and easy to invoice, with a user-friendly interface. You can create invoices, invoices and set up deductible invoices.

Its pricing plan is suitable for growing businesses – Zoho Invoice is free for businesses with less than five customers. The basic package costs £6 per month and allows you to invoice up to 50 customers.

Zoho Books is a full-featured accounting software that’s one of the best accounting software for small businesses.

The Zoho Invoice app is available in iOS, Android and Microsoft versions, so there’s no need to sit behind a laptop to use it.

It’s cloud-based and easy to use, and if you want more features as your business grows, its pricing plan is very affordable. The basic package costs $9.99 per month and allows you to track time and expenses, create recurring reports and send out quotes.

Invoice Berry

Invoice Berry is designed specifically for small and micro businesses,

unlike many of the invoicing apps we’ve already mentioned.

Invoice Berry has simplicity in mind. They claim that the pos system with inventory management allows you to create and send invoices to customers in under a minute. The software sends reminders to late payers and even sends a thank you letter when payment is received.

For £10 a month, the “Solo” plan allows for 15 invoice templates, 35 customers and two users, while the “Pro” plan offers unlimited customers and users and 15 invoice templates for £20 a month.

Alfacybernetics  is a UK-based company, which means that many of its features are designed with the UK market in mind. For example, the software can establish a direct link with HMRC – the software generates VAT returns and EC sales lists and submits them to HMRC.
